i get it i really do this movie was not for me tho - it just felt like it was consistently trying to send a message (which i did manage to do) it was just so pretentious about it i really dont know how to put it into words and i had insanely high expectations for it as well so im so :/

i feel like my chest has caved in - i know this film isnt going to win best picture cause the academy is useless but even without seeing all of them i can say this deserves the oscar. the way its shot the way the story is told the soundtrack, costumes, editing, THE ACTING!!!! just everything about this film was incredible
