  God some real throwback moments in this, bands like TV on the Radio and The Rapture whose names I’ve not heard since I was about 13, also Karen O looking like the Tumblr grrl final boss.. plus an education on some of my blind spots within this scene that I’m gonna have to go deep dive on now! Really well put together doc whether you like the tunes or not, amazing archival footage and lets the story tell itself without too much mediation (I think)

  nature is beautiful vs nature is cruel dichotomy, and yes humans interact within this world, impose upon it or try to care for its needs, but ultimately nature is random and it has the last say. in some ways the final act has no explanation such as the things in nature we simply can’t account for happening, our world is built into chaos and therefore a loosely linked chain of events has the power to cause, in this case, devastation.…

  What an absolute HUN relic! So fucking chaotic yet shot so deadpan making this naturally very funny to watch

  Fave bits:
  - the girl who was mourning ginger spice like she’d died, slowly looking through her artefacts in the museum 
  - Geri spitballing ways to stay famous and earnestly coming up with the suggestion of being the next James Bond baddie - ‘i’ll just BLAG IT’ 
  - the section of the film where she suddenly became a United Nations ambassador…
