Jeff Goldblum + Geena Davis = genius casting
Possibly the height of Cronenberg’s powers, at least coming off the heels of Scanners and Videodrome, the other films of his I’ve watched

Very refreshing queer coming of age story. Edge of Seventeen avoids a lot of the typical beats and melodrama, which is specially shocking considering it’s from 1998.
