Who the #$&% Is Jackson Pollock? 2006
Watched this because my mom is auditioning for a show inspired by this woman and I really dug it. I specifically appreciate just how obtuse the “art world” people sound in their interviews, especially trying to justify their own highly subjective expertise over the fingerprint evidence. I’d also not known that Pollock wouldn’t sell his paintings for less than he felt they were worth, but would give them away for food or to friends. While I don’t value his work too much, I really love that mindset in terms of how you value your work.
