they couldn’t keep my attention span,i found it boring and long so at one point i’d only watch snippets… the graphics and the aesthetic were nice though (yes you can say orientalist but also it’s sci if in a desert area so, but it’s giving fashion runway)…

micheal shanon at the end being the realest part and my parents just not caring that he was seeing through the situation so transparently at the end and that i didn’t mention it in time frustrates me because now they’re watching another movie and they don’t care enough to want to hear me mention it anymore lol
and i hate that feeling of my mom not liking it and seeing him as strange only cus he’s transparently LOUD and “disrespectful”/“talking…

idk if this is spoiler but maybe kinda? i dont say anything abt the contents of the film
it was really triggering but the message was conveyed so strongly and the air/ mood/tone of most of the movie really solidified after the end because of its detached disassociating nature of most of the story which was contrasted by the end
the story holds itself up really well
