  miyazaki fears birds but loves planes, i can see he loves the sky and the sea but also i can see his hate and almost  resentment towards birds throughout the whole movie (even though i know he surpasses everything by even making the birds harmless and meaningless themselves)

  i fell in love with a dialogue in this movie… the seagulls dialogue felt very meaningful throughout the whole movie and i just think about how often we antagonize nature…
