Brilliant. It got a lot of backlash for winning best picture and I’m really not sure why. I thought it was brilliant. The screenplay in particular was outstanding. I can see where people are coming from regarding the white savior idea but I think the film itself represented the idea that black people had to stand up for themselves in many situations. I don’t know. I really enjoyed it. Ali in particular carried the film and his acting might be the best in Hollywood.

Wolf Man 2025
This film was the definition of mid. Not good or bad. It just kind of exists. The cinematography wasn’t awful and the symbolism was good but ran a bit heavy at times. I didn’t like the look of the wolf itself. I did like, however, that we were able to see from the wolf’s pov. I thought it created a sense of understanding for the audience. 2.5 out of 5 seems fair. Decent performances as well especially from the dad. But overall it was just ok
