Poor Things 2023
This movie is not for everyone. A lot of grotesque scenes, but a movie I will definitely remember. I did think we didn’t need some of those grotesque scenes because it didn’t add to the overall story. But, from the acting, to the set design, to the cinematography, to the original score, everything was unique. This is a big movie, and everything was almost like a shout out loud. Broke my heart. Even in this bizarre but sadly realistic scenario I found that it somehow is relatable to everyone. Deep down people just want to feel loved. I found that the acting in the main 3 characters were great, supporting actors not really. For 2009 cinematography was good, not great.
