  growing up as an asian-american with a mother struggling to take care of both her child & mother in law with Alzheimer's and a dad who worked far away and didn't come back often, this film hit hard.  

  scenes between didi & his mom were so carefully, thoughtfully, and wonderfully created. 

  supa bittersweet! made me laugh a ton & cry a ton too.

  "you are my dream" made me sob. last scene also left me in tears.

  a very heartfelt film by sean wang, dedicated to his mother.
