The cinematography captures you multiple times. The dialogue can be gut-wrenching. But all in all this movie just displays you the true human connection and how that can fail sometimes. On Chesil Beach isn't anything amazing yet it is by not being that. As that is how life is.

Upfront I need to admit I'm very grateful for Aronofsky going the whole mile in his movie 'mother!'. He meant to leave an impact on the people walking out the theaters, to cause a storm of conversation so to speak. 'mother!' is much more than what it first depicts on the surface. I advice everyone to go blind into this movie, as you should with other works of Aronofsky to get the full experience.
