    I thought this was going to be more of a documentary, but I was glad it was as primarily a concert film. 

    The technical elements frustrate me, especially whenever they auto tuned Ben’s voice. 

    I was really happy to see lesser-played songs like Adelaide and Free Coffee get played. Those are two of my favorites.

    Saw it on 35mm at the Brattle. The print/or projection wasn’t the greatest, it was definitely a little dark, but a treat to see this on the big screen nonetheless.

    Shyamalan is at his best at the intersection of genre and family drama, even melodrama if you want. It’s on great display here, in Trap, in The Visit, in Old, Knock at the Cabin, and I’m sure in the others I haven’t seen.

    I absolutely loved this, and I’m so glad I did. A love letter as well as an indictment. The performances are off the charts, I’m really looking forward to Diego Calva taking the US by storm. I was floored by this. The score is magnificent! I honestly don’t have all that much to say. I’m sure this is an annoying review to read so I’ll stop writing it, but I loved this. I will now stop denying Chazelle and just appreciate his work. I never thought a shot of a newspaper could be so devastating.

    I didn’t think it could get worse than Argylle. Where do I even start? Frat boy homophobia, the r word, an “I identify” joke, in 2024??? I wanted to see Trap instead. 

    It’s crazy to me that the anti-Last Jedi crowd seemingly loves this movie when it’s actually disrespectful to a character’s arc in a previous movie. Luke throwing his lightsaber has nothing on Deadpool taking apart and fighting with Logan’s skeleton while dancing to a fucking Nsync song. This…
