Some of the best writing I think I have ever seen in a movie. Matt Damon and Robin Williams both hit this shit out of the park, and a couple of their dialogues together are legitimately perfect. Beautifully shot. Almost every single frame is perfect and a lot of them serve purposes beyond just looking good. Loved the camerawork and noticed some really clever cuts. The story definitely lacks some cohesion towards the start and has pointless tension, but all is saved when our lord and savior Willem Dafoe arrives.
