  Some films really make you think and others are focused on entertaining. "Y Tu Mamá También" manages to do both, but what makes the film incredible is its ability to mesh themes such as sexual discovery, politics, class, romance, and friendship together into a cohesive drama while using a lens that is unostentatious and raw. Ballard's semi-autobiographical novel of the same name and is infused with Steven Speilberg's eccentric interpretations of how a boy who loves planes copes with war.
