  The challenge of adapting Carson’s novels is that the characters are very introspective. Most of the story unfolds within the prose which is difficult to convey on screen.

  The highlight of this is young Cecily Tyson and Alan Arkin (may they rest in peace).

  Maybe this could have all been avoided if they said Tamra was home…

  This doesn’t really do or add anything new or unique to The Strangers ip or slashers in general. Nothing has topped the og yet. It’s still enjoyable and I’m actually really interested to see the other two films, especially with the little tease we got at the end of this one!
