I really don’t think Miyizaki can miss with Ghibli studios so far everyone I’ve seen has been so god damn good. The beautiful animation even improves with some breathtakingly illustrated scenes on top of Hisashis’s composing creates the most beautiful pieces of cinema ever. An absolutely beautiful and sweet film that is such a heartfelt and fun ride from start to finish. The beautiful animation on top of the voice acting was so damn good and I absolutely think this was robbed for best animation. Flow is great but this just hits soooo much harder. The Shawshank Redemption 1994
A shameful watch because not only is this one of the greatest films of all time and number 1 on IMDB but it’s also my dads favorite film and yet it took 18 years and a 10 hour plane ride for me to finally sit down and watch it. And I was MISSING OUT.
This film is beautifully paced with such a heartfelt happy and tragic story of a falsely accused man making it through the corrupt prison of Shawshank. There isn’t much I can add to this that isn’t already said so I’m just gonna keep it real and say DAMN.
