Only Yesterday 1991
A very emotionally affective story with not great pacing.
Honestly I want more films like this in life, but I want them to be just a bit less meandering. It’s really a wonderful film with so much to say about how people develop.

On the one hand: this movie has amazing commentary and assessments of the life of a woman.
