The humor isn’t as bad as I remember but god the shift in tone is so jarring. I hate that Thor went from the stoic, fantastical god to just outright surfer bro. From a story telling standpoint, much better than the first two Thor movies. The action and cinematography are also infinitely better, the tone is really just preventing this movie from being perfect. Unsurprisingly, this movie feels extremely disconnected from the first two Thor installments, but can you blame them?
