  As a Christian... 

  And a fan of Robby eggs, this was a rollercoaster. So much to like and so much to be disturbed by. The puritan setting was nailed. The way their faith is at the center of their lives and is the deciding factor of everything they do is so accurate. The characters explain theological concepts more clearly than I can. Loving that vibe. However, as these type of movies go, everyone loses it. This is not a feel good movie to watch with the family. Don't watch it with your mother especially, the good people don't end up staying good.

  I am more interested in learning how this story was made than I was interested in the story as it happened. A mastercraft in writing but the story itself can be a bit dry and slow at times. This is the movie you pick to write an essay about character arcs on in first year film school.
