The Brutalist 2024
Cinematic masterpiece. Not totally in love with the story being told but can’t argue it is beyond compelling. Particularly a fan of the choice of real life documentary footage/pornography used and helped a lot with historical context throughout the film. Some of my favourite sequences are the shots zooming down roads/traintracks in Pensilvania, as well as Guy Pearce’s car pulling up in the work yard and obviously all of the brutalist architecture shots.
