  Someone asked why I rated this 2.5 stars.

  The usual feeling I have after watching a 'good' movie is that it changes something in me (whatever that may be). And The Truman Show made me feel not nothing, but stillness without the beauty of it. It's just there, being basic, opposition to thought provoking movies.
