Bob Marley: One Love 2024
I was taught that you either have a narrative or an event driven film. This film has managed to be performance driven, with the actors being the driving force of it. Stunning cinematography, editing, costume and score don’t hide the fact that we don’t know where this movie is going. Is it meant to be a quick summary of Bob’s life or is this one of the highlights of his message as an artist. To call this a biopic would be a shame because it doesn’t give us even a pinch of who Bob Marley was.
