Really frustrating movie…
Goes back and forth between great shots and really weird and poorly executed ideas. Solid writing and performances but this one did not age well for me compared to Oldboy.
I don’t know why everyone thinks this is the worst movie they’ve ever seen, it’s not that bad.
It was very one dimensional in its themes and there were definitely too many songs but it was coherent enough and it looked great and was well acted.
It was fine but could’ve been so much better.
One of the most impressive movies I’ve ever seen from a directorial standpoint. You can feel Park Chan-wook’s influence in every scene, every shot.
The camera work was amazing. It reminded me a lot of Tarantino and a little of Fincher. I found myself wondering how a lot of the shots were even possible.
Great story. The pacing/editing ties in with the story perfectly and delivers it in an ideal way.
I had high expectations going in, but this movie shattered those expectations very quickly.
Amazing film. It truly blew me away. Park Chan-wook is a filmmaking god.
Without a doubt my favorite movie of the year.
Breathtakingly beautiful. Genuinely hilarious. Refreshingly unique.
It felt like a disturbed version of a Wes Anderson film.
Lanthimos has firmly cemented himself as a top-tier, one-of-a-kind, must-watch modern director.
