Overall I think this film does everything it sets out to do, but its ambitions are lacking in my opinion.
Generally, I think that any movie under a corporate control has limits on quality. I think they did try to circumvent this with criticisms on Mattel, and the all male board, but there was just an underlying sense that this film had been through the corporate whitewashers.

Drive My Car 2021
This film is applicable under so many different lenses, a true sign of its versatility and relevance. As the magnificent performances within the film and the subplot were coupled with the necessarily simplistic cinematography, the film so naturally gave way to thematic exploration in an abstract and adaptable manner.
