  I miss New England where it isn't weird for friendly strangers to come and go from the woods. 'Tis a strange place.

  Movie was a nice idea but much like players towards the end I was wondering when the whole thing was going to be over.

  Anxiety Inducing, Shocking, Classic

  Some of the best paranormal horror I've seen in a long time. Oddity doesn't bring much new to the tale of the haunted house but god damn does it execute the traditional story well. Like a chocolate chip cookie made by a master baker. Hardly were there moments to relax and never a moment you felt safe.

  My only critique is it might have relied too much on the jump scare but I definitely felt each…

  In a Violent Nature 2024

  Lean, Unflagging, Absurd

  No frills, all kills. A slasher movie where the audience follows the merciless killer instead of the usual group of unlikable teens and their drama. With a bare bones plot given from the start the audience is free to sit back and enjoy the kills in all their gorey. The effects are well done and some of the kills so absurd you can't help but laugh.

  But while a nice change in perspective for the slasher genre and recommended viewing, it's almost as soulless as the killer.
