Kung Fu Panda 2008
Actually has a good story of overcoming odds and working hard to believe in yourself. The overall storytelling and plot are way above many other childrens movies and I wouldn’t even call this a “childrens” movie at all.
The animation holds up quite well 14 years later, and I was genuinely surprised.

This movie was waaaaaay ahead of its time. The plot and character development were mostly good although felt rushed in some areas, such as the father becoming a extremely kind after just yelling at maria because of one song, but overall it’s excuseable. It’s just a fun feel-good movie!!
Where it shines is in the cinematography and the music. The iconic songs bring much nostalgia. The shots are beautiful and way way way ahead of the time.

Phenomenal take on the batman formula. The focus on the detective side of the batman character is fresh and new and exciting.
