The Killing of a Sacred Deer 2017
Deeply unsettling film that lures you in with a simple and well known story of revenge providing discomfort that drags it’s fingernails across the screen and leaving you not knowing where to look.
I didn’t find the first act of the film to be humorous as other reviewers seem to have, causing it to be very dry at times but the deadpan comedy delivery that Lanthimos’ has used in his other works felt in this film to be more nihilistic…
