Quite enjoyable to watch on the whole.
It's lead up to the finale is very well crafted and does have a lot of great moments that keep you hooked into the plot.
However the finale is massively underwhelming as a big boss bottle type of moment, where the DnD film did a much better version of it even though it is a comedy role playing film.This iteration has a lot of potential for reestablishing the franchise into the modern…

An exceptionally interesting film that starts with goofy upbeat tone about a classic and bright game then delves in deep with themes of individualised realism and gritty political drama that plays all aspects exceedingly well off each other that keeps the film light, action packed, dramatical yet entertainingly fun.
Definetly worth a watch for game nerds, historical viewers, drama enjoyers and of course for a casual sit down.
