A fun movie with some light dark comedy, even as it slowly simmers from the highest of highs to something equal parts heartbreaking and cathartic. Not the movie you'd expect from the trailers, but a pleasant surprise that has the potential to stick in your mind for a while after. More than just a comedy, more than just a drama. Maybe a bit longer than it needed to be, but all that space feels necessary in the end, considering where the movie rolls credits.
A disgusting and hilarious satire with a truly bonkers finale. It's so over the top and defies logic so often that calling it a horror comedy doesn't feel wrong. Every cast member is clearly in on the joke and having the time of their lives, and that energy is infectious. It absolutely begs to be watched with others.
