I’ll always find the narrative behind Rodriguez’ career fascinating. So unique, and something that cant ever happen again. Adding to that, Rodriguez’ music is brilliant.

The moment Rodriguez steps on stage in South Africa, and the only thing you hear is the bass riff to “I wonder” while the crowd cheers for minutes on end, finally seeing their hero, will always give me goosebumps.

Little Anecdote: We had a course in school about Science-Fiction films and their innovations impact on society, and a friend of mine picked Her. She analyses if it is Psychologically and Socially possible to have a romantic relationship with an Artificial Intelligence. I hadn’t seen the film at that point in time, but I knew the basic plot and I thought she analyzed the film quite well.

But having finally seen it, Her is so much more than that.
