the reason all films by the later coppolas have literally no emotional depth or thought content is because they did not have to experience the trial and error process of filmmaking. they were handed their fame and their opportunities on a silver platter and because of this know only how to create aesthetically pleasing films using the high grade technological advantages they have due to their wealth and connections. the films created by the coppolas are a true representation of women's role in this field as the only way a female can be successful is by being grandfathered into the industry by a male family member.
