    What a weird gem. This looks so unique, no other film looks like this in 2024, love how it borrows from television visual language, the zooms, the video filters, the lightning, such a cool film to look at. All that filled with amazing performances by Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong. You can see Stan becoming the Trump we know lottle by little, from insecure to arrogant.

    Impossible to take your eyes off of it. And some great needle drops too!

    This should have been nominated for Best Picture.

    I laughed, smiled and cried, sometimes all in the same scene. The acting here is INSANE, this really felt like real people. I also love the film cinematography that kind of makes this feel like it is happening outside of time and space. During those 90 minutes I felt completely removed from the rest of the world and all that existed was inside the walls of Sing Sing.

    I remembered this was a good movie, but not that it was THAT good. I shouldn't care that much about an ape.

    The ape rebellion forming without a single line of dialogue is a cinematic achievement. Caesar's first word builds up for the entire film and when it is delivered it definitely pays off.
