Out of the bad comes the good
The fragments of the explosion were woven together in and intricately constructed plot exploring how our past experiences affect our relationships in the present.

    Love PAT
    (Spoilers)

Although the characters were very likeable, I felt that this film never reached a climax. Despite the chaotic and emotionally charged relationship that developed between Tiffany and Pat, their final argument lacked intensity. Queer baiting 101

The production design was on point and Natalie Dormer’s performance was a standout but the story lacked structure, giving no resolutions to the unresting enigma throughout. The narrative jumped around in time at such a quick pace it was hard to keep up. Further, the character relationships were confusing. All of the characters suffered from a distinct lack of identity. Over the 6 hours of the series I felt like I became increasingly confused about who they were. Perhaps this is due to the theme of Australian identity (or the lack of Australian identity due to British colonisation).
