    68 Kill

    ★★½

Pure white trash chaos in the best way possible? 68 Kill is a hyperviolent, darkly comedic thrill ride that never lets up, throwing its hapless protagonist, Chip (Matthew Gray Gubler aka my boyfriend), into one absurdly awful situation after another. (In an unrealistic way honestly)His whole journey is both hilarious and brutal.

AnnaLynne McCord absolutely steals the show as Liza, a femme fatale with zero moral compass and a mean streak a mile wide. The film doesn’t waste time…

Uptown Girls is a charming yet bittersweet dramedy that blends humor, heart, and unexpected depth. Starring Brittany Murphy as carefree socialite Molly Gunn and Dakota Fanning as serious, precocious Ray, the film explores themes of loss, responsibility, and personal growth.

Murphy delivers a vibrant and endearing performance, bringing an infectious energy to Molly, a woman who has never truly had to grow up until her privileged world comes crashing down. Fanning, on the other hand, plays Ray with an…

    now this is fucking cinema.

Damien Chazelle’s Babylon feels like being shot out of a cannon directly into the chaos of 1920s Hollywood.

party scenes are wild, the humor is dark.

it’s messy. But isn’t that the point? Babylon is Chazelle’s love letter to cinema and his love-hate letter to the industry behind it. It’s bold, exhausting, and unforgettable, much like the era it portrays.

It’s so underrated because people are just not ready for a movie like it.
