I cried through the whole thing because I am going through a tough time and movies are cathartic, but ultimately left feeling kind of disturbed by everything that had unfolded. I feel like this is a movie most powerful in particular shots, moments, and vignettes, but not as a whole narrative. It falls apart. It does not line up with what I think the best of femininity (and masculinity) holds.
