there was a point in the movie where i had to pause it to go settle my daughter back to sleep. i figured i was maybe halfway through, but it turns out the movie was almost over. i had been so immersed in the atmosphere and experience that i hadn’t realized the story was concluding.
because that’s what this was, a full body dunk into being young and online, in control but not really.
