NOT WHAT YOU MIGHT THINK :
This film really surprised me. Bit pulpy, sure, but no where near as much as I expected.
This movie is based, ACAB, really heart-wrenching at the end aswell.
I wouldn't consider this a macho, screaming-eagle action film at all - rather I saw it as quite raw and gritty, with sound writing and a compelling story.
4/5 simply because the "flick" element is still there.

For the longest time I was dead against Star Wars bc of plotholes and general incontinuity, but dammit, rewatching this movie as an adult, I must say the magic is still there! It truly does have that fairytale quality to the characters, storytelling and dialogue. There is just so much to love about the original trilogy, and what a headstrong introduction to an entirely new franchise and universe for the 1970's.
