Not sure I ever got through this as a child, but cleared a morning for it at 36. Expected this would be bad, of course, but didn’t know it would absolutely shell my ass with hideous images for 96 minutes. (Don’t worry, Bryan Spicer would silence the doubters just two years later with both McHale’s Navy and Allen/Alley two-hander For Richer or Poorer.)
Finally a film that captures my high-school experience: lying about my address to get in a better district. Up there with Twin Peaks in the pantheon of artworks that make you want a cup of coffee.
