  The Wicker Man 1973

  This movie has an identity and style, complete with great music, costumes and a detailed pagan religion. Unfortunately the story and characters really hold it down. The acting is good but I don’t believe the characters and their actions don’t make sense. The “Mystery” is figured out a 3rd of the way in to the movie and somehow the main character doesn’t leave. The “twist” is the only part he doesn’t know and it makes absolutely no sense and would definitely hold back any chance at an enjoyable rewatch. Midsommar is a better version of this movie in every regard.

  A drug trip of a movie. I wouldn’t consider this a problem if the first 20 minutes were so great without the none sense characters, logic, and world. The animation, vibe, and music of the first race was enough to make me enjoy it.

  La la land is my favorite movie of the year. Every song is memorable and catchy. The visuals are gorgeous and colorful. The leads are charismatic and portray emotion in a way that got to be. I would say definitely go see even if you don't like musicals, everybody should be able to find something to enjoy out of the romance, comedy, story, visuals, or music that is all great.
