Unfortunately, this film really didn't do it for me. It relies heavily on a lot of tropes that are pretty harmful to the LGBTQ+ community, and are super overdone. Here are all my criticisms in this regard:

- Simone and Claire look like sisters; that's weird, and not all lesbian couples look alike (I mean, obviously some do, but it just feels weird to *choose* this)

This film is not bad, but it's also not good. I enjoyed the concept but was disappointed having many questions left unanswered by the end of the movie. Firstly, what is with some people being exceptions to the whole suicide curse thing? It's never revealed why certain people are selected to convince others to look, thus committing suicide, or how these exceptions are chosen, or why they haven't killed themselves yet and instead have become these persuaders.
