Dead Poets Society 1989
The primary meaning behind this film (find your passion, don’t follow the written path, etc.) is pretty superficial and played at this point, but I can rally behind it because it’s one that I think kids today still struggle to fully grasp. Also a big fan of the “carpe diem” focus as well, or what I translated to my dumber mind as just live life without giving a shit. Again, pretty played but I’ll trust that it wasn’t so much…
