The depth of the storytelling, direction, and characters in this film is incredible. I feel like rewatching it right after finishing it to keep mining its depths.
For me, it evoked films like Tar and Persona while saying so much about power, the inability to connect, and our fundamental distance from each other and the vulnerability and invasion one can feel when our boundaries are crossed or eroded.
Even in a SpaceX propaganda documentary made by accomplished directors, Elon Musk can’t help but come off as an unlikeable twat who shouldn’t be trusted with the future of the American space program.
