  The director literally got banned in Iran from filmmaking for life, was sentenced to flogging and prison time... because of his filmmaking. And these messages needed to be shared. Phenomenal work, had me gasping out loud in horror - we need to popularize thrillers and suspense films again!! Not every horror film is a slasher.

  Too much lore, pacing was awful, CGI was abysmal... the target audience was unclear, I was so bored and confused because of the lack of explanation for things that mattered, like Jack's actual life. Never watching this again. Gave it a half star bc of the funny Krampus kink lore.
