Interstellar 2014
i’m on cloud nine rn. I can officially say that i’ve seen Interstellar in 70mm IMAX on the biggest screen in the US. absolutely levitating experience. there’s nothing like it. the movie just takes up your entire field of view while the speakers go absolutely ballistic. probably the best theater experience i’ve ever had. well worth the trip to NYC with my friends.

Got the chance to see this in 70mm IMAX today. I’ve never seen a movie on film before, much less imax 70mm. So I was beyond exited and holy fuck it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely fucking phenomenal.

Spectre 2015
this may be my least favorite of Danial Craig’s run as Bond but that’s not saying much, all 5 of these films are bangers, this is no exception even if it’s my least favorite of them.
also fun fact: i got to see one of the screen used Aston Martin DB10s that Bond used in this film (the car made specifically for this movie and not commercial release) among a ton of other screen used Bond cars from the other films.

such a damn good film. secondly only to Casino Royale, my favorite Bond movie. my only wish is that we got one more film between Quantum of Solace and this. one more where Danial Craig’s Bond is still at his peak physical game. I love the idea of an older bond dealing with his physical limitations but the selfish part of me wishes we got just one more outing before that.

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
I know this is a hot take, but I absolutely hated this movie. I watched it the other night with my friend for the first time going in expecting something amazing based on the critic and audience scores only to be disappointed. The plot is literally all over the place and you can’t digest anything before another thing is shoved down your throat. It’s like if an artist took a canvas and just couldn’t decide what colors to put in their painting so they just dumped ever color in existence on there.
