Honestly.. A sensual-visual experience that is perfection. A movie about the poetic overlapping of lives intertwining through the ages, and I felt it to my very heart.
Edward Yang uses the back of his characters head as a foreground in some shots to distinguish a sense of perspective but just enough to feel hidden, not exposed, and that really resonates with me.
