  The second half really did it for me; it’s so intense and visually stunning. The way this film explores passion obsession and sacrifice is so impressive and you never would have thought this was made in 1948. That ballet scene where the visuals are all overlapping and you can’t tell what’s real or not is so good. The first half was mid as F though…
