this is definitely not a perfect film but I always enjoy watching hitchcocks works. I rly like when it gets rly weird with all the cartoon stuff and the story was not what I expected at all.
I can see why this is a classic and so influential but there were some issues holding it back for me, for example that man's fake ass vertigo. he was just scared of heights that's not real vertigo. that's not the only problem…
couldn't even tell u how many times I've seen this but every time I do watch it I have to skip slipping through my fingers or else I will cry at the first second they start singing. i could watch this a million more times and still want to watch it again
so much better on a rewatch, its so nice to be able to actually understand what's going on and understand what this movie is. makes me rly appreciate the film-making and all that.
this is a rly good movie with a rly interesting story and very likeable characters. everything in this movie is executed flawlessly, there are no points that I think fall flat at all. the alien is rly cool looking when it starts to unfold and the monkey is rly rly scary. good job 👍
