The cattiest, pettiest cast of characters I have seen in any movie since Mean Girls. And I say that as a great compliment.

Fairly disappointed with this. Robert Pattinson was fantastic and Bong Joon Ho's flashy directing style was a treat, but my issues fell solely with the writing.
Steven Yeun's character could have been removed entirely and not really have effected anything, Toni Collette was completely wasted and her sauce obsession seemed like a weird quirk that went nowhere, Kai just completely disappeared in the middle of the second act, and Steven Park's character appeared out of nowhere right at the end…

God damn, the Rob Reiner legacy run has been as brilliant as advertised.
This film has a way to completely grip you through "a-ha" moments during the court scenes. It was a treat watching the defense claw their way back into the case with essentially nothing but sheer will and a well placed bluff. The performances were excellent across the board. I especially loved Tom Cruise's nervous physical acting as he was questioning Col. Jessup while he was verbally projecting…
Completely out of left field. Both the comedy and the drama landed really well with me. For such a silly premise on the surface, it would have been easy to get a lot of cheap laughs, but instead this is a heartfelt character study. I enjoyed every minute of this.
