  Miyazaki unlocked something in Bert and now he has a million voices inside him. This movie is both so silly and so serious. Ruffalo getting a lot of mileage out of this type of character (Poor Things coded). And Toni Collette wow!!!!! At the end of the day kind of another Critter Flick, but there’s a lot goin on here

  We spent so much money blowing up jet skis we forgot to write dialogue. I saw this movie on cable in my grandmas basement during the Bush administration, and the absence of the Mt. Everest reveal at the end in the non-Ulysses cut that’s on Netflix rn made me doubt the validity of my childhood experience. Kinda based that the extra long version of this movie was on cable. But even my nostalgia can’t convince me this is a good movie!
