Disobedience 2017
At times i found ronits character to be so insufferable, but the acting was amazing, dovid was played so so well. ronits and estis relationship felt so passionate and their chemistry was electric even through a few glances at each other. The ending was the most realistic as esti couldn’t just leave her life; i liked how not everything was conveyed straight away, dovids monologue was powerful and had a double-meaning to both girls.

Lost in Translation 2003
i didn’t see the hype and the weird tension and end-kiss between the two characters were so off-putting bc he was middle-aged with wife and kids??? and she seemed quite young nd so it was majorly uncomfortable . Characters like Anna Farris’ archetypal early -2000s character served no purpose to the story idk what she was doing

Submarine 2010
it was a realistic movie and the soundtrack was AMAZING; it played a huge part on giving emotion to the movie. It was blunt and deeply profound, and I found the characters to be very relatable and realistic with the awkward teenage angst and off-putting behaviour. the dead-pan humour I enjoyed (“no emotions(gay)”) . I also think Oliver is probs autistic
