The Color of Pomegranates 1969
It was like watching an art piece instead of a movie for 80 LONG minutes. I’d like to say I loved this, but I didn’t. Don’t get me wrong, this movie was beautiful, and yes, yes, art is to the eyes of the beholder, but anyone saying that this piece is a masterpiece that spoke to them on a biblical level is either only trying to seem cooler and more obscure or they are a deeply hurt college student with micro-bangs and a grudge against society. It’s striking and almost surreal, if you like that for an hour.
